A few simple habits can help keep swelling under control while you travel:

✔️ Wear appropriate compression when recommended

✔️ Limit high-sodium foods

✔️ Do gentle exercises to keep your lymphatic system moving

These small steps can help support healthy circulation and lymphatic flow so you can feel your best while enjoying your trip.

💙 March is Lymphedema Awareness Month.

Swelling isn’t always “just swelling.”

Lymphedema is a chronic condition caused by a compromised lymphatic system. When lymph fluid can’t properly drain, it builds up, leading to persistent swelling, discomfort, heaviness, and increased risk of infection.

It can develop after surgery, cancer treatment, injury, or from a congenital condition ... and early treatment truly matters.

At Lymphedema Treatment Center, we are committed to:
✨ Raising awareness
✨ Providing education
✨ Offering specialized treatment
✨ Supporting every patient’s journey

If you or someone you love is living with unexplained swelling, know that help is available, and that you are not alone.

Let’s continue the conversation this month and beyond. 🦋

Your lymphatic system doesn’t move on its own, it relies on you. 💙

A few daily habits can make a big difference:

🚶‍♀️ Light movement like walking or stretching
💧 Drinking plenty of water
🤲 Regular Manual Lymphatic Drainage

When your lymph system is supported, you may notice less swelling, stronger immunity and better overall wellness. Small steps. Real results.

Compression stockings aren’t failing you.
They’re just not the whole solution.

Swelling is a lymphatic issue and unless the fluid is manually guided and properly supported, compression alone may not create meaningful change. That’s why personalized lymphatic therapy, proper fitting, and long-term education matter.

If swelling hasn’t improved with basic compression, it’s time to reassess, not give up.

Watching someone you love struggle is never easy, especially when swelling keeps getting worse and mobility starts to fade.

After a dermatologist referral brought this family to Lymphedema Treatment Center, everything changed. In just the first two weeks of treatment, her dad lost 20 pounds in one leg, and more importantly, began getting his mobility back.

Today, they’re grateful not only for the results, but for the care, education and ongoing support through maintenance.

Stories like this remind us why early intervention matters ... and how powerful personalized lymphatic care can be. 💙

February is Cardiovascular Awareness Month, a perfect reminder that your heart and lymphatic system work closely together. 💙

When lymphedema causes chronic swelling, it doesn’t just affect comfort or appearance. That extra fluid can increase strain on your circulatory system, impact mobility and make it harder for your body to move blood and lymph efficiently.

That’s why managing lymphedema matters, not just for swelling relief, but for your overall cardiovascular health.

Early care, compression, movement and specialized therapy can help support circulation, reduce inflammation, and improve quality of life.

If you’re noticing persistent swelling, heaviness, or skin changes, don’t wait. Your heart, and your body, deserve support.

Call to today to schedule an evaluation.

When swelling becomes your “normal,” it’s easy to stop noticing the changes.

But persistent lower leg swelling, especially when skin texture changes, veins become more visible, or the legs feel heavy and tight, can signal lymphatic or circulatory congestion.

Common contributors include:
• Chronic inflammation
• Lymphatic dysfunction
• Venous insufficiency
• Post-surgical changes
• Prolonged sitting or standing

Swelling that doesn’t resolve overnight deserves evaluation, not dismissal. Early lymphatic support can improve comfort, mobility, and long-term outcomes.

If leg swelling is something you live with daily, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Hand and arm swelling is more than just “water retention.”

If your rings feel tighter, your hand feels heavy, or one arm looks noticeably larger than the other, your lymphatic system may be struggling to move fluid efficiently.
This type of swelling is especially common after:
• Breast cancer treatment
• Lymph node removal
• Surgery or injury
• Repetitive strain
Early lymphatic care can help reduce discomfort, support function, and prevent swelling from becoming harder to manage.

If you’ve noticed changes in your hands or arms, don’t wait for it to worsen.
Stop guessing. Start understanding.
