As the year comes to a close, my heart is so full. To every family I supported, every birth I witnessed, every text at 2am, and every moment of trust you placed in me, thank you!!! It is an honor beyond words to walk alongside you during such sacred, life-changing moments.

To my clients, past and present: your strength, vulnerability, and love continue to inspire me daily. To my fellow birth workers, and supporters: thank you for cheering me on, referring families, and believing in this work. I truly couldn’t do this without you.

Placenta Art involves carefully placing a placenta on a clean, flat surface and pressing a piece of high grade, low acid watercolor paper on top. The results can vary and it takes practice to get the complexity of the placenta to really show up! This special keepsake remembers our child’s first home; one of love and nourishment. 🫶🩷🩵🤍
