Join Kula in welcoming back Dr. Nick Atlas (Director of Evolutionary Education, Psychedelic Guide, Spiritual Teacher, Author, and Chair of Transpersonal Psychology at Atlantic University with 25+ years experience in the healing arts) for an immersive & expansive journey into the heart of contemporary shamanism.

Untethered to any one tradition yet honoring the wisdom of many, together we will explore the essence of self-awareness, healing, and psychospiritual transformation through time-honored techniques for shifting consciousness, including breathwork, guided meditation/relaxation (yoga nidra), dreamwork, psychedelics, ecstatic dance and improvisational music-making.

With a focus on presence, deep empathy, liminality and flow states, this workshop will help us situate our personal and professional practice in everyday life, hone new and familiar skills, and awaken our connection to the timeless, nondual ground of being, while rooting into the new year with a renewed sense of meaning and purpose.

No experience is necessary to participate and all are welcome.

While psychedelics will be a topic of discussion, no substances will be consumed during the workshop.

The session will include a short break.

Bring a journal and a snack (something to share if you’d like), and please eat lightly prior to arriving (as we will start the session with breathwork practice, which is best done on an empty stomach).

☀️ MEET MINDY!! ☀️ It’s an incredible honor to welcome this bright & beautiful soul to our teaching team at kula! Mindy will be guiding a new class to our Sunday schedule: Unwind (a gentle movement meets yinny vibe adorned with pockets of meditation). The class will be held at 11:30am each Sunday starting this weekend ✨✨

In her own words:

I was first introduced to yoga over a decade ago while living in NYC as a professional dancer. Over the years, as I experienced the many highs and lows of my dance career, I kept returning to yoga, feeling the support it offered my mind and body. I began to dive deeper, participating in various trainings and workshops, and was blown away by the inner tools we have access to at all times.

Later, after experiencing an old injury return due to no real known reason except stress, it was through meditation that I was able to heal. This experience completely shifted my life and opened my mind and heart to what is possible within us. I ended up leaving NYC and moved back home to Florida, where I am very grateful to have found Kula Yoga Shala and its community.

Thankful to the many wonderful teachers I’ve had on my path so far and as a 200 Hr Kula Yoga Grad, I am honored to be able to share practices that support inner healing and offer a more intentional, aligned way of living.

We are so happy to have you here Mindy!! ♥️

I mean…how do you pick just one?!?! Congratulations to this motley tribe of wildly beautiful souls on their successful completion of their Embodiment Coach Training.

This six month journey traversed the terrains of spirit, psyche, and soma. From their own inner work to compassionate space holding they delved into the realms of attachment theory, imago, parts work, enneagram, yoga dharma, polyvagal theory, trauma & the nervous system, meditation, breathwork, aligned entrepreneurship and a wide array of embodiment facilitations to support revelation, regulation, expression, and deep self integration.

A truly special experience with an incredible group of humans so deeply dedicated to sharing this work in the world. Congratulations to each of you 🤩 We are so deeply honored to have been in this space with you.

☀️Saturday 10:30am Open House Q&A ☀️ Books are stacked & we are stoked to walk through the open door with you into our upcoming 300 hour yoga + somatic resourcing training 🫶

This unique training has been lovingly & skillfully curated for BOTH 200 hour yoga teachers AND coaches & therapists looking to deepen their knowledge and integration of the vast somatic tools found within yoga’s rich tapestry of meditations, breathwork practices, embodiment exercises, and relaxation techniques.

This program, starting January 8th, blends the aforementioned practices with parts work, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, trauma healing, and yoga philosophy.

It combines 7 weekend intensives held monthly with weekly practice + study sessions. Hybrid virtual options are available for out of town folks who are able to be in person for the monthly immersions.

🥳 THEY DID IT!!! 🥳 The deepest bow of congratulations to this amazing assemblage of souls on their graduation from yoga teacher training this past weekend 🙌🏼

One thing about ytt200 is it’s always so much more than one imagines it will be. More study. More inner work. More practice. More healing. More commitment. More growth. To show up for that with willingness, resoluteness, sincerity, consistency, and gratitude for the challenge is truly remarkable.

So…CONGRATULATIONS to each of you. The world has just received some remarkable new yoga sharers ☺️ Thank you for your trust in letting us walk these steps of your journey alongside you. It’s been nothing short of an honor.
