Goldberg earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, where she was graduated Summa cm laude. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Goldberg was a top finalist in the Miss Ohio pageant, where she placed first in talent by playing classical piano. She credits years of piano lessons with developing the dexterity and control of her hands that made her the surgeon she is today. Dr. Goldberg then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine at The Ohio State University, where she was nationally ranked by the America Medical Association for developing a curriculum for national medical education week. She completed her residency training in both general and plastic surgery at The Ohio University Medical Center, where she was chosen to receive the prestigious Intern of the Year award. Dr Goldberg was also a finalist for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Compassion Award, which is chosen by the nurses to honor physicians who provide extraordinary patient care. Dr. Goldberg began her South Florida practice in West Palm Beach at Palm Beach Plastic Surgery before moving to Jupiter in 2010 were she is currently located.

One of the most common concerns I hear is what happens if a silicone implant ruptures? The good news is that modern silicone implants are designed to be cohesive, meaning the silicone stays contained within the capsule rather than spreading throughout the body.

In most cases, a rupture is not an emergency and often does not cause noticeable symptoms. That said, implants are not meant to last forever. Over time, they may need to be replaced to maintain both safety and aesthetic results.

This is why regular follow ups and imaging when recommended are so important. Staying informed allows us to monitor changes early and create a plan that feels right for you.
