Shout out to Courtney Rockelman for being a great team player and helping out the housekeeping department on a busy day!🤩 Courtney has been with us as a CNA for 2 years. She was drawn to this career due to her love of helping others. Getting to know the residents and hear their stories is one of her favorite parts of the job. Patience goes a long way in long-term care according to Courtney and she encourages others in the field to keep a positive mindset.😄 When she's not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and children who are outdoor enthusiasts! They all pitch in to help with their dogs and chickens and are hoping to add some goats to the mix this spring.🐐

Our next employee spotlight is......Susan!⭐

Susan has worked in the Kitchen for the past 2 years and is known for her upbeat attitude, consistent smile, and wonderful singing that'll make anyone's day better! She loves the incredible connections she forms with the residents. Susan's advice for those working in long-term care is to be prepared for the losses but to enjoy every moment you get with them. She is a self-proclaimed 'open book' and loves talking to visitors, families, and friends of the residents!

Joan was recognized for her wonderful cooking and help during our Candlelight Lunch🕯💛

Joan is a veteran staff at CCNH with 40+ years of dedicated service. She began working at CCNH because she valued the convenience of working close to home. The residents and joy of cooking healthy meals have made her job the most rewarding. Her advice to those wanting to work in long-term care is to always take pride in giving back to the members of the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 5 grandkids and two dogs Coco and Peanut.
