We need some volunteers to reset and prepare the studio on Friday to be filled with vendors during the on Saturday! We’re looking for 2-5 volunteers on Friday from 10am-2pm. You’ll be lifting items from the KBY studio, and carrying them up the stairs to the Hush House storage closet. This is the time we need the most hands! Please DM our account the speak with Margot, our social media manager, and she’ll send you all the info.

If you can’t make Friday, we need a few extra Jerico Faire volunteers Saturday from 5-7pm, after the JF. You’ll help load out vendors from the KBY studio quickly, then bring all the items from upstairs back down to KBY. Email director@hellojericom.com to help on Saturday!

Want some free athleisure wear?

we’re hosting an athleisure clothing swap at kalamazoo backyard yogis! this is a chance to get comfy, movement-friendly clothes into the hands of folks who need them—and to help build a small studio clothing library for anyone who might forget clothes or need a little extra support for their practice.

bring your clean, gently used yoga and workout clothes—sports bras, leggings, sweatpants, hoodies, tees, tanks, whatever you love to move in. items must be freshly laundered, undamaged, and sorted by type (tops, bottoms, outerwear, etc.).

you don’t have to bring clothes to swap to participate—anyone is welcome to come shop. tickets are $1-10 sliding-scale and can be purchased ahead of time or at the door. proceeds go toward maintaining the studio clothing library.

we’ll do our best to hang and sort as we go, but if you have a small folding table or clothing rack to lend, bring it along.

this is about community care, reducing waste, and helping everyone feel supported and comfortable in their practice.

Join us, Kalamazoo, for a BIPOC yoga class centering the experiences of Black, Indigenous, Latinx/ Latine, Asian, Middle Eastern, and all People of Color.
In a wellness world that often defaults to whiteness, we’re carving out space to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Led by rotating BIPOC instructors, every class is a chance to breathe, move, and connect in community.

hi friends — we’re launching a new line of kby shirts — each one designed to raise funds for ash’s gender-affirming top surgery and recovery. 🏳️‍🌈☀️

there are four designs, each with several colors and styles to choose from (tees, crops, and hoodies). every purchase goes directly toward supporting ash’s surgery, recovery time, rent, and care while they heal.

free spaghetti pantry @ kby

take what you need.
leave some for others if you can.

this pantry is open to everyone—students, neighbors, anyone passing by. each shelf has what you need for a meal: noodles, sauce, parmesan, and ramen (vegetarian + gluten-free options).

if you know someone who could use a meal, please take one to them.

a small effort to help bridge the gap after the stop in SNAP benefits—because full bellies mean cared-for people.
