A little bit more about neurodivergence and therapy, this time from Brandy Burnham, LLP, LPC. Brandy is able to provide assessments related to autism with adults.

Some of the best things about working with the neurodivergent population are the exposure to unique individuals who often think and act differently than a neurotypical person. You experience diverse perceptions and learn how to view everything through a new lens. This includes the physical and social world, behaviors, relationships, problems, and solutions. We are always looking for ways to develop their strengths and make sure they feel valued in the world!

Freedom Counseling is pleased to announce that Brandy is now offering comprehensive evaluations for adults. Brandy conducts psychological assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and more. Get to the root of your symptoms! Brandy is currently evaluating adults with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

We all celebrate when a colleague has a “win”!

Please join us in congratulating our very own Andreas Jenrich, LLPC, who passed his state licensing exam! This is no joke to complete and we are so proud of our colleague.

When it comes to licensing, one gets a provisional license pending hours of experience and state testing before one earns their full license. Andreas has a ways to go on hours, but his dedication to studying while managing all the other aspects of his life are remarkable, and we couldn't be happier for him! WTG Andreas!
