Look who’s at the shop today! Kat from is at Kalamazoo Dry Goods to help you select beautiful, useful supplies for your creative pursuits.

I’m at home today, getting my head and home office organized for 2026 but the shop is open 3-6 if you’d like to venture out. The roads near the shop have been plowed and it’s toasty inside.

I’ll be there 10-2 tomorrow and then closed until Friday. Thanks for all your support during the holidays - it was decent enough for me to feel like I can take some time this week for rest and relaxation and organization and family and all the things I’ve been missing lately. I’m pretty close to my 2025 goals and my fingers are crossed that we’ll get there tomorrow 🤞🏻

That’s a wrap on Christmas 2025 at Kalamazoo Dry Goods! Thanks so much to everyone who is gifting and enjoying beautiful supplies from my shop this season.

I’m taking some time off over the next week but I know some of you love to bring your family and friends to the shop once the holiday rush is behind you, so I’ve scheduled some pop-up hours for you. I probably won’t respond to any messages over this time, but will reply when I’m back to work on January 2nd.

I’m excited to take a much-needed break and enjoy a multi-day Chill Christmas with my fam (the only time of year I have all 4 of my kids under one roof!) and I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful, relaxing week as well.

Hello! It’s Monday, December 22nd believe it or not. That means we’re in the final couple of shopping days before Christmas. If you’re still looking for ideas or stocking stuffers, Kalamazoo Dry Goods is a great place to find great gifts for all the creatives on your list.

Wow! Thank you for such a busy, wonderful day! I love when you tell me you’ve been following on social media and it’s your first time in, and I love seeing all the familiar faces I’ve seen here dozens of times.

I know some of you want to come tomorrow but I need to go find a tree farm that’s still open and maybe clean my house a bit but I’ll be open Monday-Wednesday for last minute shopping and then closed Thursday and Friday.

I have a couple final deliveries coming, including needle felting kits, Sashiko supplies, and some art supplies and books. The shelves are far from empty though, so there’s still plenty to choose from throughout the shop.

Gift cards are also available in the shop and online.

Hours next week will be:

Monday 1-6
Tuesday 10-6
Wednesday 10-2

I don’t have to wrestle those watercolor sheets out of the back room anymore 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🎉🎉🎉

I’ve wanted this rack for SO LONG but there always seems to be another priority. But I finally decided we need it so I got it and now it’s here and I’m stoked. I’m not touching them until after Christmas unless you ask really nicely but they’ll be ready to go in January.

And for all my fiber folks, that little rack is filled with Jacquard Textile Paint. And the screen printing ink and Dye-Na-Flow are en route. 🙌🏻

I always make a lot of work for myself but your ongoing support makes the long days worth it. Thanks so much, y’all.

Haha I accidentally stayed here all night rearranging things so I might be a little tired Wednesday but I think the shelves are looking good and I even gave up a big part of my desk for the new Stoneground Paints display. They’re sooo pretty 😍

I’ll get my holiday hours together soon but in addition to my regular hours this week I do plan to be open next Monday for a few hours in the afternoon. I’ll close early on Christmas Eve and will have very limited hours between Christmas and New Year’s so watch for that announcement later this week.

I’m going home to rest but I’ll be back 10-6 today.

🎉🎉🎉 Stoneground Paints have made their way to Kalamazoo Dry Goods 🙌🏻 These spent far longer than they should have in customs and I gave up hope that they would be here before Christmas but they have finally arrived! It will take me a little while to unpack all the individual half pans of handmade watercolor and gouache, but I hope to have them all ready for you later today.

The shop is open until 6 and I hope to see you!
