Meet Derrick Neater, AACC-Certified Mental Health Coach

Derrick has always believed in the power of connection. As a co-founder of the Psychology Club at the University of Montana, he learned early that bringing people together around shared purpose creates transformation.

Now, as an AACC-Certified Mental Health Coach with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Derrick specializes in walking alongside high school students and young adults as they navigate life's biggest questions. He's passionate about helping them discover their purpose—not just survive, but truly thrive.

What makes Derrick different? He meets young people where they are, bringing both faith and philosophy into conversations about identity, meaning, and direction. He knows that the questions we ask ourselves in our teens and twenties shape the people we become. He's excited by faith and philosophy, and he brings that genuine curiosity into every conversation.

When he's not coaching, you'll find Derrick exploring the outdoors or cozying up with a good book—a lifelong learner who believes in living purposefully.

We’re delighted to welcome Nicole Faessel, APRN, PMHNP, PMH-C, a caring and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, to our team.

Nicole specializes in helping with Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, ADHD, PTSD, Neurodevelopmental Disorders/Autism Spectrum, OCD, Bipolar and Related Disorders, and Postpartum Depression. She listens closely and creates personalized plans with compassion. Starting September 5, 2025, Nicole is booking in-office appointments at our office, with most insurance plans accepted

Karlin holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and has a diverse background in the social services field. She is certified as a Mental Health Coach by the AACC and is passionate about helping people transition from feeling overwhelmed and stuck to feeling free and fully alive.

As a coach, Karlin serves as a supportive partner who listens deeply and asks insightful questions, empowering her clients on their journeys of healing and growth. Additionally, she is a certified Enneagram coach, which allows her to understand the unique strengths and challenges each person faces, helping them live authentically as the individuals they were meant to be.

Ezekiel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Candidate. He earned his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Ezekiel has experience addressing Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. He is also pursuing certification in Gottman’s couples counseling course to help couples strengthen their relationships.

We’re excited to introduce Lindsay, who recently completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University! She has successfully transitioned from counseling intern to Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Candidate.

Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Pastoral Care from Northwest University. She is also a proud member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

With 10 years of experience on staff at a church in Kalispell, Lindsay has served in various roles, including kids ministry and pastoral care, and has worked extensively with children and families. She is passionate about helping people find their identity in Jesus.
