I am writing to communicate what our experience has been utilizing your WaveForm OWR software algorithm. As you know, we have had a significant amount of experience with your software since the beginning of this year and I am very pleased to report we are elated with the results we are receiving to date.
The OWR algorithm significantly improves the accuracy of the objective results obtained from the Huvitz aberrometer. Our customers are reporting that on many occasions, the OWR becomes the final subject Rx after a quick check of the sphere power to assure no accommodation has occurred, but this is only part of the story.
We believe it is crucial to properly educate the customer on the benefits of a complete digital package. By integrating the Huvitz HLM-7000 Digital Lensmeter, HDC-7000 Visual Acuity System and the HDR-7000 Digital Refractor with the HRK-7000AW aberrometer, the complete Digital Eye Exam is possible. • Less fatigue
• Better patient experience
• Less “which is better 1 or 2”
• Increased patient face time

Once the OWR prescription is finalized with the patient, the WaveForm Digital FreeForm lenses are very simple to order. Your WaveForm web portal makes the process quick and easy in placing orders and checking on their status.
The addition of the OWR to the Huvitz HRK-7000AW Aberrometer increases the accuracy. In addition, it has also increased our profit margins. We have increased our selling margin by 33% on the HRK-7000 Abberometer by adding the OWR software. More important, we have increased our complete HRS system sales 500% by adding OWR as the majority of these customers have been considering a Digital Refraction System. The OWR has given them the confidence to proceed. This new business platform lays the foundation for future opportunities to expand our product offering and generate incremental profits.
We are excited and looking forward to introducing the WaveForm customized wavefront guided soft contact lenses based on the Zernike data measurements from the HRK-7000AW. These unique contact lenses will provide correction for patients with degenerative eye disease and failed refractive surgical procedures, in addition to providing a custom multifocal design. Our doctors are very excited about this new technology and about what it can do for their patients and practice.
The bottom line is that the addition of WaveForm technology has resulted in an increase in market pe*******on and revenue for our company.
