MedNorth is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join a smart, motivated, and positive medical team. The Medical Assistant’s primary role is to provide clinical support to the Providers in a fast-paced, energetic environment all while providing exceptional patient care. We have a comprehensive medical lab and digital x-ray. MedNorth is an independently owned and community involved medical facility in Kalispell, MT.
Main duties will include:
• Preparing patients for examination and treatment. Taking brief histories, obtaining vital signs, and reviewing patient’s list of medications.
• Giving injections, performs phlebotomy, performs EKG’s.
• Preparing exam rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Providing patients with educational information after Physician’s approval.
• Processing lab specimens and requisition forms and sending to appropriate reference laboratories.
