3-27-26: Thank you Moraine Valley Community College for putting together this memorable event to honor our alumni. It was humbling to stand alongside the other Moraine Valley Community College Alumni Hall of Fame inductees this year. I meant it when I said, "My path to volunteerism began here at MVCC. It is here that I found my calling for serving others and honed the skills that would make further academic achievements possible. I am grateful to have had MVCC as an option for a place to begin my college experience to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life."

3-23-26: This is one of the cards I received at the Moraine Valley Alumni Hall of Fame induction dinner. They were on my tables and on the screen as the dinner began. I received many touching tributes from family and friends. This one is from two of my nephews.

December 13, 2025: It was an honor to participate in the Wreaths Across America event at Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont, FL. I have been blessed to participate in the wreath laying service in three states. This was the warmest such ceremony for me. It was a beautiful 70 degrees and sunny.🇺🇸

8-10-25: I am truly honored to announce that I was selected to serve as a Guardian on the new Honor Flight, Montana’s Continental Divide Honor Flight, in Montana. Our first flight, with 34 veterans will embark on this trip of honor in less than four weeks. We will meet our heroes on September 6, 2025, in Deer Lodge, MT. From there, we take a bus to Bozeman Airport for our flight to Washington, DC. We will spend two nights in the Washington, DC, area to allow enough time for the veterans to tour their Memorials. We return to Missoula Airport on the evening of Monday, September 8, 2025. We are scheduled to honor two Korean Veterans and 32 Vietnam Era Veterans on this inaugural trip.
