TerraShield is what I use on my dog every year when we go out in the woods! She has yet to bring any ticks home. ♥️

Can you use TerraShield with animals? 🐶

Yes! You can use TerraShield with animals! No more insect repellents with synthetic or toxic chemicals! Essential oils are SO effective for this purpose and I want to make sure you know how to use them safely with your animals.

What is the TerraShield Repellent Blend? 🦟

This unique blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Thyme, Cedarwood, and Peppermint essential oils is a newer formula that is even more effective at pest prevention. You know the culprits...fleas, ticks, mosquitos, and flies...it is that time of year again!

The blend is already diluted in sesame seed oil so it is perfectly safe to use on people and large animals. Because of the Citronella, Peppermint, and Thyme, I do recommend further dilution for smaller animals like dogs and cats.

How to use TerraShield Repellent Blend with animals:
• For horses, cattle, sheep, and goats, use topically undiluted every 6-8 hours as needed or try this fly spray recipe: https://essentialoilvet.com/6837-2/
• For dogs over 25 lbs., put a few drops on your hands and rub down your dog prior to going outdoors. Or you can create a spray with 50% TerraShield and 50% carrier oil or filtered water (Shake before applying).
• For dogs under 25 lbs., dilute 50% with carrier oil and then use 1-2 drops in your hands to rub down dog prior to going outdoors.
• For cats, diffusion is preferred. For natural pest repellant, you can also try Cedarwood Essential Oil diluted to 1%.

Lemon oil is one of the most used oils in our home. Most people know lemon for the internal benefits, the diffusing options, and cooking options. However, there's a lot more lemon can do!

3 Reasons to Ditch the Fabric Softener!

1. Traditional laundry softener may leave your clothes covered in a film🤢

2. if you have sensitive skin they may be an irritant for you. This can cause rashes, itchy or even dry skin after putting on some freshly washed clothes 😭

3. If you really take a look at those labels and the ingredients you’ll see it’s not something you want in your house, on your skin or even something you want to be breathing in.

Making your own is easy and affordable. This was one of the first things I was able to switch out easily and quite affordably! 👏🏻 All you need is vinegar and essential oils.

10 oz white vinegar
3 drops each of Lemon, Lime, and Grapefruit oils (Purify is another great option. Experiment - make it your own)
Citrus peels (optional)

✅ Directions:

1. Add citrus peels to a 16 oz glass bottle
2. Fill the bottle halfway with vinegar
3. Add essential oils then top with the rest of the vinegar and shake
4. Let sit a week before use
5. Depending on the size of the load, you can use anywhere from 2 tbsp up to ¼ cup at a time. If you have harder water you may need to use more.

The use depends on the type of washer that you have. If you have a top-loading washer: during the final rinse cycle, manually add the vinegar mixture. If your washer has a fabric softener cup, add the mixture to it and it will dispense at the appropriate time. If your washer does not have one, add the mixture into a fabric softener ball and put it in with your close at the beginning.

👉 ...and no, this does not make your clothes smell like vinegar at all.
