Martha, being the oldest of 11 children, and having a midwife for a mother, grew up in the atmosphere of birth. She has 4 boys of her own, and has attended approximately 60 births. She stays up on the latest training and information on childbirth and the support of women during pregnancy and post-partum. She has experience working in both hospital, home birth and birth center settings. The Charge for Doula services is $350. There is a sliding fee scale available, when needed. Doulas are useful for births in the home, birth center or hospital.

If you are not a beer drinker, they also serve kombucha, jun tea, soda, sparkling water, and several house made drinks: hot chai, ginger lemonade, and rotating flavors of their fizzy using house made syrups! Plus, they have amazing food. This is all day, as long as they are open on Tuesday, Oct 11th.

This amazing woman did her bar exam during the first part of her labor, had a baby and then finished the exam immediately postpartum. Amazing feat for this woman! Yay.
But it brings up the question, should we not have exceptions for emergencies like this? This woman should have had time to enjoy her baby, and not stress about taking the rest of a very important test.

The charge for Doula services is $450.
Pregnancy only services are available upon request and limited postpartum support as well.
