Labor Support Services Labor and doula support services Martha Artyomenko Completed certification with DONA international. She is a certified Doula through DONA international.

Martha, being the oldest of 11 children, and having a midwife for a mother, grew up in the atmosphere of birth. She has 4 boys of her own, and has attended approximately 60 births. She stays up on the latest training and information on childbirth and the support of women during pregnancy and post-partum. She has experience working in both hospital, home birth and birth center settings. The Charge for Doula services is $350. There is a sliding fee scale available, when needed. Doulas are useful for births in the home, birth center or hospital.

Part of their sales tomorrow will be donated to the Flathead Breastfeeding Coalition, including take-out! The FVBC uses our funds towards educational purposes and community outreach that support our mission to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in the Flathead Valley. They have really yummy food! If you are not a beer drinker, they also serve kombucha, jun tea, soda, sparkling water, and several house made drinks: hot chai, ginger lemonade, and rotating flavors of their fizzy using house made syrups! Plus, they have amazing food. This is all day, as long as they are open on Tuesday, Oct 11th.

This amazing woman did her bar exam during the first part of her labor, had a baby and then finished the exam immediately postpartum. Amazing feat for this woman! Yay.
But it brings up the question, should we not have exceptions for emergencies like this? This woman should have had time to enjoy her baby, and not stress about taking the rest of a very important test.

What kind of pressures did you feel you were under to keep up with a career, housewife or parent to other children when you first had a baby?

Martha Artyomenko Completed certification with DONA international 2006. Martha, being the oldest of 11 children, and having a midwife for a mother, grew up in the atmosphere of birth. She has 4 boys of her own, and has attended approximately 60 births. She has been a certified Doula through DONA international. She stays up on the latest training and information on childbirth and the support of women during pregnancy and post-partum.

She has experience working in both hospital, home birth and birth center settings.

She has experience in many different birth settings, family dynamics, and orientations. She will support you, where you are without causing you to feel like you are being forced into a box.

The charge for Doula services is $450.
