👩‍👧‍👦 Come hang out with other parents, and you are welcome to bring your kids of all ages. Heart and Hands Midwifery and Family Healthcare has a play area for the older ones!
☕️ Snacks & drinks provided.
⚖️ There is a scale if you want to weigh your baby.
🤱🏾 We always have a lactation specialist available for any breastfeeding concerns/questions.

Part of their sales tomorrow will be donated to the Flathead Breastfeeding Coalition, including take-out! The FVBC uses our funds towards educational purposes and community outreach that support our mission to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding in the Flathead Valley. They have really yummy food! If you are not a beer drinker, they also serve kombucha, jun tea, soda, sparkling water, and several house made drinks: hot chai, ginger lemonade, and rotating flavors of their fizzy using house made syrups! Plus, they have amazing food. This is all day, as long as they are open on Tuesday, Oct 11th.

I have seen women do a lot of things in labor, but this is pretty insane to see! Strong woman there…

Video of Erin Maye Quade shows her holding her stomach and pausing, apparently having a contraction, after finishing a sentence of her speech. She then left, withdrawing from the nomination process.

This amazing woman did her bar exam during the first part of her labor, had a baby and then finished the exam immediately postpartum. Amazing feat for this woman! Yay.
But it brings up the question, should we not have exceptions for emergencies like this? This woman should have had time to enjoy her baby, and not stress about taking the rest of a very important test.
