𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 & 𝐁é𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞👨‍🍳✨

Our Executive Sous Chefs recently led an engaging cooking demonstration, introducing residents to the five classic mother sauces with a special focus on 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞.

Residents learned how this warm emulsion of egg yolk, melted clarified butter, and lemon juice serves as a foundational sauce in classical French cuisine.

Then, building on that foundation, our chefs transformed the Hollandaise into 𝐁é𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 by incorporating a flavorful vinegar, shallot, and tarragon reduction — demonstrating how one mother sauce can evolve into something entirely new. The finishing touch? Béarnaise served over mahi mahi. 🐟🍋
