A little about me. I’m a 5th‑generation Flathead Valley local, now raising my two kiddos with my husband in the same place I grew up. Long before physical therapy, I was a full‑blown theatre kid and earned my AA in Theatre Arts in 2003. I loved the stage, but I realized my calling was somewhere else; somewhere I could blend curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning.
That shift led me to Exercise Science, where I discovered a whole new side of myself. I graduated from the University of Montana in 2006 and knew I wanted a career rooted in growth, variety, and meaningful relationships. Physical therapy checked every box. I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2010, graduating at the top of my class.
My early career took me to Santa Fe, working in inpatient neuro rehab, an unforgettable season filled with art, culture, and learning. A year later, I returned home to the Flathead Valley and spent the next 14 years in outpatient orthopedics, treating everyone from elite athletes to Hollywood stunt performers to grandparents determined to beat the grandkids at ping pong. Along the way, I was honored with multiple Best of the Flathead awards (2014, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and was the inaugural recipient of Flathead’s Top 20 Under 40 in 2017.
In 2024, I expanded my practice into Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, a field that deserves far more attention and normalization. Integrating my orthopedic background into pelvic health has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career.
Founding Second Wind Physical Therapy with my talented colleague and friend, Alena Baughan, is our way of giving back to the community that raised us. It’s built on years of experience, evidence‑based care, and a deep belief that people deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me out in the community, on a trail, camping, traveling, or adventuring with my husband and our two kids.
