Just a quick thank you to everyone who chooses to get their glasses with us.
We know you have more options than ever with insurance websites, online retailers and big box stores remind you of that constantly. And we completely understand that every family has different budgets and different needs.

🔍 Position 1: Experienced Optician
If you know your PD from your OC, can adjust a frame like a pro, and love helping patients look and see their best—we want you! Experience preferred, style and precision required.

📞 Position 2: Front Desk Rockstar
This is not just a “hello and goodbye” gig. Our front desk staff are the heartbeat of our practice! We’re looking for someone with:
• A warm, confident phone presence
• Mad multitasking skills (think: answering phones, scheduling, checking in/out, taking payments)
• Insurance-savvy (or willing to learn!)
• Bonus points if you’re patient, kind, and can laugh under pressure

Kalkaska Family Vision Care is proud to introduce you to our new doctor! Dr. Ryan Chrencik joined our practice recently and is excited to serve our patients!

Dr. Ryan Chrencik was raised by his parents, Curt and Patricia, and grew up in Ga***rd, Michigan alongside his twin sister, Carley, and younger brother, Joey. He graduated from Ga***rd High School in 2013.
Later that year, he attended Ferris State University in the Honors program and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Optometry. He earned his doctorate from Midwestern University- Chicago College of Optometry in 2022.
Dr. Chrencik has experience with a wide variety of patient bases and enjoys providing the best care for any patient according to their needs and beyond.
When he is not in the exam room, Dr. Chrencik enjoys watching his Detroit Lions and Tigers, gaming, going to the gym, traveling, fishing/hunting, among many other things. He is also a musician and music enthusiast.

We are 10 years old!!! Ten years ago today, Eye Health of Kalkaska became Kalkaska Family Vision Care. So grateful for the past 10 years of serving the Kalkaska and surrounding communities! (Funny side note...I realized I'm wearing the same shirt today that I wore in this photo with Dr. Molter...and it still fits...)

We’re on the hunt for a Front Desk Rockstar to work 32–40 hours per week at our Kalkaska office. If you’re energetic, love talking to people, and can juggle phone calls like a pro, we want to meet you!

No need to be an insurance expert—we’ll teach you how to look up vision plans and schedule appointments like a boss.

Both of our offices will be closed 12/24, 12/25, 12/26, 12/31 and 1/1. Kalkaska will be open 12/23, 12/27 and 12/30 and back to our regular schedule 1/2. We will also be back in our Kingsley office on 1/2 as well. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
