Physical Therapy Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities
Through hands-on and instructive treatment you will be expected to help patients recover from injury and live to their fullest potential.
1 hour Evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions.
This is a private outpatient clinic handling the gentle community of the windward side. Dress code is casual-professional.
Physical Therapist Education/Work Requirements:
A Physical Therapy degree from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapist program. A Valid active Hawaii PT License.
Must be able to:
Review patients’ medical histories
Diagnose patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
Develop individualized treatment plans
Outline clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
Record patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
Educate patients and family members about the recovery process
