Taco Stuffed Shells
🌮🧀 Turn your taco night into something extraordinary with these delicious taco-stuffed shells!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 cup water
1 cup salsa
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
12 jumbo pasta shells
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet, stir to combine, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Mix in the salsa and half of the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
Spread the tomato sauce in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and place them in the baking dish.
Spoon sour cream over the shells and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
