🎓 Celebrating Our Final Pre-Apprenticeship Graduation of 2025! 🎉

This past Friday, Rincon Family Services’ Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Program wrapped up its 6th and final graduating class of the year in Kankakee — and what a powerful ending it was.

This year, six cohorts across Chicago, Berwyn, and Kankakee showed up with purpose and pushed through with determination. 86% of our 2025 students graduated, each earning four industry-recognized construction certifications in just 13 weeks. That’s grit. That’s commitment. That’s community rising together.

Watching our graduates walk the stage — parents cheering, kids waving, partners recording every moment — you could feel the possibility in the room. These are individuals who balanced jobs, families, late nights, early mornings, and still chose to invest in their future.

🏗️ About the Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Program
Rincon’s Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Program prepares adults in Illinois for entry into high-demand construction careers by providing hands-on training, safety certifications, job-readiness skills, and direct pathways into union apprenticeships and construction jobs. Participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and industry-recognized credentials needed to launch a stable, well-paid career in the trades.

🌟 A Day of Support, Collaboration, and Progress 🌟

What an incredible day at Rincon Family Services and Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center! We were honored to welcome AETNA of Illinois CEO Rushil Desai, Operations Officer Shawn Trotter, and their leadership team. Our President & CEO Eddy Borrayo extended a warm welcome and presented our services, focusing on future partnerships and programs aimed at strengthening our communities. 🤝

At the same time, we are excited to announce that Midland States Bank Foundation made a generous donation to our Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center in Kankakee! 💙 This contribution will directly enhance our mental health services and help us serve the community even better.

We were proud to have George Ryan, our Board Chair, and Tyler Tall, Board Member, along with our leadership team, to receive the donation.
