Kyril Copeland, Barbara Davis, and Linda Heiland from our Environmental Health Division presented at a Child Care Training during the Cabarrus County Child Care Directors Meeting, hosted by the Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE).

They educated 50 child care staff on safe food preparation and proper handwashing practices which will promote healthier environments for children across our Cabarrus County. 🌟

We honored the legacy of Greg Stewart with a ribbon cutting ceremony to rename our Wellness Kitchen in his memory. Introducing the Gregory Keith Stewart Wellness Kitchen ❤️

Greg served our team and community with dedication and heart for over 16 years (1/16/2008 – 6/11/2025).

His family joined us at the October board meeting as we celebrated his lasting impact on health, wellness, and compassion at Cabarrus Health Alliance. 💜

The family members pictured include Jo (wife), Summer (daughter), Jacoby (grandson), Saxton (son), Warren (brother), Mary (sister-in-law), and Paula (cousin).
