One of the great benefits of home birth midwifery care are the in home postpartum visits! Our team comes back at 24-48 hours, then 2 weeks, followed by 6 weeks. The two week visit is so important to check in with the mama since 2 weeks is a very big transitional time period in the postpartum world. Often, it's very therapeutic to process and debrief with her about the birth because the first several days postpartum are usually a blur 😄.

It was such a pleasure seeing this lovely mom and her sweet baby! She overcame so much to finally hold her daughter in her arms! The joy and triumph were monumental! I'm always especially grateful to be able to help support a safe and glorious home birth for first-time moms! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

New Eden Birth & Wellness is officially opening registration for our Faith-Based Community Childbirth Education Series, created to prepare families for physiological birth—mind, body, and spirit.

We are honored to partner with , with this series taught by Marcia White Jankee —a Full-Spectrum Doula, Childbirth Educator, and Licensed Midwife Apprentice, and one of our very own Midwife Assistants—bringing trusted, community-rooted, and faith-centered wisdom to each session.

Class Details:

Start Date: Saturday, February 21st

Schedule: Every Saturday, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Duration: 8 weeks (skipping Easter weekend)

Format: Live, Virtual Sessions (2 hours each)

This experience includes 8 live virtual classes, allowing you to join from wherever you are—your home, on the go, or even while resting on the beach. 🌿
All you need is your laptop, tablet, or phone, and a heart ready to learn.

He'll start coming to our Concord office:

Supernatural Childbirth!

Working in the hospital I got whispers of Supernatural Childbirth because every birth is a miraculous event!

BUT since starting New Eden and the opportunity to come to the throne room of God Almighty TOGETHER with the birthing mom and her family is a privilege and honor that words can not express!

This birth was one of the most tangible displays of the power of prayer and worshipping together to break through the wall of labor to transition to birth! It was breathtaking to see The Holy Spirit move in such a mighty way!

Thanks be to God for my fellow warrior in Christ teammates: Grace Ham as Midwife Assistant and Oneicesa Washington RN as Birth Assistant! We needed each other in every way!

I'm also very honored to be able to support a safe healthy birth in a beautiful Black family! His light never dims!
