Today, me and about 50 other people from around the world became sworn citizens of the United States of America 🇺🇸.
Alexandra was allowed into the ceremony with me (I could only have one guest) and I had her take my pic in front of all the props, forever trying to get a good one🤷‍♀️
I definitely got a little misty eyed as the host talked about the diversity of this nation and how that’s what makes it so great 🥲. I registered to vote and filled out my application for an American passport!!
I’ve lived here for 35 years, both my girls were born here, so I’m not sure what took me so long to commit. But I couldn’t be more proud that today was the day!❤️
