Today is National Sunglasses Day. So much damage occurs to the eyes because of the sun. A couple things to think about.....Children look up to adults when they are outside so they are looking up into the sun. They need to be wearing quality sunwear to protect their eyes. If your child is wearing prescription eyewear, you may want to consider transitions lenses. While they don't replace sunglasses in adults, they do give children the extra layer of protection out in the sun without having to keep track of multiple pairs of glasses.
