* * Type 1 Diabetes:�The pancreas does not produce insulin — the vital hormone that helps control blood sugar levels.
* * Type 2 Diabetes:�The body doesn’t produce enough insulin or doesn’t properly use the insulin it makes.
* * Prediabetes:�Blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as Type 2 Diabetes.
* * Gestational Diabetes:�Develops during pregnancy and usually disappears after birth, but it increases the risk of Type 2 Diabetes later in life.
