Our new '📚 KCSN Book Club: Turning Pages Together' is kicking off our first series in early 2026! Together, we’ll be reading Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew by Sherrie Eldridge — a powerful, insightful book that opens the door to understanding adoption through the eyes of our children.

Discussions will be facilitated by our team, and the book club will provide a safe, relaxed space for foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers to learn, reflect, and connect!

Our book club:

Resource alert! Check out the Foster Friendly app in the Apple or Android store. This awesome app provides discounts to post-adoptive and kinship families. To get started, check out these graphics that will show you how to connect with KCSN to become a sponsored family. After becoming a sponsored family, families can utilize the app to find businesses with special offers and discounts, community partners offering services, events for families, and faith communities.

We were honored to be a part of the Hope and a Future Christmas Celebration last night in Wichita! As a partnership of businesses, churches, non-profits, and individuals, Hope and a Future helped spread holiday cheer and hope to over 1,600 children and 3,300 attendees this Christmas season. A special thank you to FosterICT for organizing the event and Wichita Sports Forum for hosting!
