DCF partners with -PARC, and to provide resources to post-adoptive families as way to continuously support them post-finalization.

Resource alert! DCCA's Post-Adoption Support Group starts on November 18th and runs through January 22nd and will teach caregivers TBRI® (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) concepts. TBRI teaches caregivers how a child's history impacts their development and behaviors and will explore ways to put these concepts into practice. Follow the links in the comment section to sign up!

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has informed all states that due to the federal government shut down, November SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits are at risk and there may be delays in benefits. The Kansas Department of Children and Families (DCF) has put together a list of resources for affected Kansas families.
