Have you ever wanted to volunteer somewhere where you help people? We have an orientation luncheon this Saturday, 11 to 1:30 at Birthright.

At Birthright, we are so lucky because we can help anyone who walks in. Some places require that the guest give their social security numbers and prove their income, and jump through other hoops. That's just not what we do there. We are there to listen and to help however we can. Plus, you sometimes get the added benefit of being able to hold a baby.

Twice a month, two hours each visit is all they ask (4 hours a month). And that is if you are working directly with the mothers. If you are doing other things, like going through donations, maintenance, or translation, then that is an entirely different matter.

Volunteering at a pregnancy resource center has brought me so much joy. I am so happy that I found that place. I've met such wonderful people all around.

Along with providing love and support, we help her with essentials such as pregnancy testing, medical, housing and counseling referrals as well as maternity and baby items. Through Birthright’s strong support system, she can realize hope for her future.
