Our O- inventory is at a critical level, with less than a 3-day supply remaining. O+ is also in constant demand, as it can help the majority of patients and is one of the most commonly used blood types in hospitals.

Welcome to the team, Sammy Jo! 🎉

A Kansas City native, Sammy Jo is already making an impact as our new Marketing Manager. With her strong ties to the community and passion for connection, we’re excited for her expertise to help grow our donor base and create even more meaningful partnerships in our area.

And she didn’t waste any time jumping in—on just her second day, Sammy Jo rolled up her sleeve to donate double red cells. Talk about leading by example (arm first, of course)!

Sometimes the best way to explain the power of platelet donation… is to let donors speak for themselves.

Some have seen it while caring for patients as nurses.
Families have watched it help a parent through cancer treatment.

Platelets are constantly needed for patients facing cancer, trauma, and other serious conditions—and donors make that care possible. 💛

The luck of the Irish might be on your side! ☘️

In 2022, the FDA lifted many Mad Cow disease (vCJD) travel restrictions, meaning people who spent time in Ireland, France, or the United Kingdom between 1980–2001 may now be eligible to donate blood.
