How have you found the therapist you work with or want to work with? For me, it was asking my friends who they've heard about or have worked with. I know others have had some luck with online lists like psychologytoday.com. Ask the supportive people in your life about their experiences and recommendations. Sometimes even reaching out to a clinician (even if they are full) will result in getting a referral to someone they trust. Good luck out there! I now have some openings for new clients. Hey there! I hope you're having just a great day. Just wanted to express my gratitude for all of your support over the past months as I have transitioned into my new therapy office. It's been a journey to get here and I'm grateful to be on it. I'd love to work with you if you are looking for a therapist, or even if you know someone who is. This one hits home. I really believe that learning to love or express awareness of any emotion can be like learning to speak a new language and if that's never been shown to you how can you know how to do that yourself? Therapy can be a huge help to help learn how to speak that language.

It's a sad thing to say, but men that are in touch with their emotions and able to communicate that awareness to others are seen as weak in a lot of cultures. This may be an evolutionary function that clearly no longer serves its purpose. The good news is that we can evolve out of that mindset as a culture. Men talking to other men, being vulnerable, opening up and being honest can help each other heal and makes a different world possible.

When you follow what inspires you it doesn't necessarily matter what your output is.

For me, the areas I've been the most *successful in have been the things I've pursued with joy and unattachment. I'm there to be inspired and follow without expectation. It's when I listen to my intuition about the relationship, art, music, school, business that it unfolds naturally the way it should, instead of forcing the issue.

So, get curious about something or someone just for the sake of being present with it, and follow where the universe takes you. After all, the universe is unfolding just as it should, always.

It's just not helping anyone to try and do everything. When you do this you're just on your way to burning out. It's not helping yourself much less the people around you, and you have to wall up emotionally to charge forward in this way. It may be the safest way, but it's just not sustainable. It's ok to take your time, be kind to yourself, and check in on what you need. Those needs aren't unreasonable they are THE place to start. Regardless of what culture demands of you, you can take your time.

Design is really important to me, and I love being in spaces that are inviting, combining intentional history. I've been stoked to work on my office, designing a place that fills up the senses and is comfortable. As a touring musician, before becoming a therapist, I've always worked on the move and never had the opportunity to set up a space like this to work out of. It feels like a good landing place for me.
