Regardless of how much water is recommended or who you listen to, the underlying theme is still the same... Drink water! Drinking more water helps our body to have all the fluid it needs for healthy bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, discs, and blood. It also provides a way for us to rid our bodies of toxins and nasty byproducts of metabolism. Helpful hint: Drink more of your water in between meals instead of a bolus at mealtime so your stomach acids are not diluted too much. Also high carb and heavy starch meals will probably need more water to wash down the food.
