On World Kindness Day, we’re celebrating the small moments that make a big difference—a smile, a helping hand, or just a little bit of care—and the community that reminds us of that every day 😀

If you’re looking for a way to celebrate, we’d love for you to share a kind message for someone on our team who’s made a difference for your family. Your words mean the world and help us remind our staff just how much their work matters 💛

Your story means the world to our team!

Each year, Summit celebrates the incredible work of our staff at our year-end Winter Social & Staff Appreciation Event — and we’d love your help making it extra special.

We’re inviting families to share short video or audio messages about how Summit’s support has made a difference in your life. Your words remind our team how valued they are and inspire them to keep making a difference every day.

How to share:

1️⃣ Record a short message on your phone — no need to be formal, just speak from the heart.

2️⃣ Upload it to www.summitaba.com/testimonial by November 29th.

Your message will only be shared internally during our celebration (not on social media). Thank you for helping us make this event so meaningful for our amazing team! 💛

Join us in giving back! 💛

Starting Monday, November 10th, Summit is kicking off a food drive to support families across our community. Donations will benefit Mimi’s Pantry, a “market‑style” pantry serving the Northland that provides families with food and enrichment programs, and Harvesters, a regional food bank fighting hunger and delivering meals to thousands of neighbors each week.

We’re inviting our Summit community—staff, families, and friends—to come together and make a difference. Every donation counts and helps put healthy meals on someone’s table!

-Donation areas will be set up at all Summit campuses
-Collecting from November 10th through December 12th

We love this image of Lynn, the director of last week on Boss’s Day!
Her team went above and beyond to show their appreciation for her in true Taylor Swift style with their Life of a Boss theme.

We are so proud of the community Lynn has built on her campus. She consistently makes sure that everyone feels welcome, valued, and connected to our mission and we couldn’t be more grateful for her leadership at Summit! 🧡

This week marks Invisible Disabilities Week, a time to raise awareness for the many disabilities and health conditions that aren’t always visible but are very real. 💙

Invisible disabilities can include autism, ADHD, learning differences, mental health conditions, chronic pain, and more. Each experience is unique, and all deserve understanding and respect.

It’s a reminder to lead with empathy, to listen before assuming, and to recognize that inclusion starts with awareness.

At Summit, we’re honored to walk alongside individuals with all kinds of strengths and challenges—visible or not—as they learn, grow, and thrive.

Because of that, you’ve created an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to do their best work.
Thank you for the generosity and steady support you show behind the scenes every day.

We’re grateful for you, Dan! 💙
