Been on a Facebook diet, barely checking my personal profile's notifications... Life has not been kind and therapists are human too - two animals with cancer. One has surgery 5 hours from this posting, another is untreatable (realistically). Because life isn't done yet, our family is also facing complications in late pregnancy.

Lesson to take from this: take joy where and when you can, enjoy the time you get with your fur babies, and when all else fails - take care of yourself!

Bought this for a little light reading on ADHD. Turned out to be a brick! Seriously though, great reference material for anyone treating ADHD to start with.

I really do credit my brief stint in theater eons ago for my active listening skills. Though my creativity was probably better nourished by my band involvement.

Pretend play is the foundation for developing empathy. Theater, which teaches great communication skills, does the same.
