Join us in welcoming Claire Raver, our newest Music Therapist, to the University of Kansas Medical Center! 🎶

A KU graduate and board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), Claire previously supported patients at St. Louis Children's Hospital in Neurology, Gen/Med, and Behavioral Health.

Claire shares, “I love music therapy because it is multi-faceted and can meet people on every level. It provides an extra level of support to every patient and family — helping them reach their treatment goals, regulate and process emotions, normalize the medical environment, and take part in their care.”

The 9th Annual Union Miracle Bowl raised an incredible $52,547 for Children’s Miracle Network at KU Medical Center — that’s more than $13,000 above last year’s total! Thank you to every sponsor, team, volunteer, and supporter who made this impact possible. 💛

A huge thank you to students from the Kansas FFA Association chapters across Olathe Public Schools for creating handmade tie blankets for their service project during FFA Week. These blankets will be donated to children receiving care through the University of Kansas Medical Center, offering warmth and comfort to them when they need it most.

We are so grateful for the continued generosity of our partners at Walmart who not only fundraise for Children's Miracle Network, but who always go above and beyond to support kids in the hospital with meaningful gifts.

A special shout‑out to Nancy E. Crumpacker from the Shawnee Silverheel Walmart for donating her time and talent to create these beautifully crocheted blankets in a variety of sizes for kids of all ages. These blankets will be distributed across the University of Kansas Medical Center—bringing warmth, comfort to children during their stay. 💙

We were honored to recognize their $1.3 million raised in 2025 for Children's Miracle Network — an extraordinary impact that will help kids and families across the country.

Attendees also heard from Robert Robinson, who shared the story of his daughter, Olivia, and her care at KU Medical Center, reminding everyone why this work matters so deeply.
