Audrey was screened at her preschool and received a vision referral from KidSight. Her mom shared, “I was surprised because I didn’t know she needed any help with her vision.” After a follow-up appointment, they learned she needed glasses to help her see clearly.

Today, Audrey is thriving in her new glasses. She’s doing the things she loves with clarity and confidence—climbing, learning new words, and keeping up with her older siblings.

Yesterday felt like a little bit of magic arrived at Moreau Heights Elementary! ✨

It was glasses delivery day, and the air buzzed with excitement as students tried on their new frames. One by one, their world came into focus. There were gasps, happy giggles, and a few awe-filled “Whoa!”s as students realized they could see details they hadn’t even known they were missing.

Yesterday reminded us that sometimes magic is simply seeing the world clearly for the first time. It was a beautiful day that we won’t forget. 👓💙

Join us tomorrow at the Lend & Learn Toy Lending Library in Columbia from 10am to 12pm! KidSight will be providing free vision screenings for children ages 6 months and up! For your child, it’s as easy as taking a picture. See you there!! 👓

Last week, KidSight hosted a mobile vision clinic for 15 students—all completed on the first snow day of the school year!

This clinic was made possible through funding from the AP Green Foundation and the Boone Electric Community Trust, and through our partnership with Family Focus Eyecare, whose support helps ensure that children receive timely vision care when it matters most.

KidSight’s Mobile Vision Clinic visited Jefferson City Public Schools for a pilot that provided 24 on-site vision exams! Each student is receiving two pairs of glasses, delivered right to their school in just a few weeks. Clear vision means brighter futures!
