Huge shout out to Greg, Senior Therapist at our Springfield campus, for being nominated for Kindness Changes Lives! 💚 Here’s what a coworker had to say regarding a wonderful five-star review mentioning Greg by name:

"A parent left a review for the KVC Missouri Springfield campus that directly speaks to the tremendous impact Greg has had on their child. This person said that their child had a mental health crisis that led to them being admitted to the residential facility in Springfield. After five months, the child is 'better and full of life again. Thank you, Greg, who I believe is one of the best child therapists you could ask for.' Great job, Greg!”

We all need connection. 💙

The Travelers for Jesus spent Saturday playing games, sharing snacks and delivering 12 backpacks filled with hygiene products for the girls at Busch Cottage in St. James. For more than 25 years, they’ve continued to show up in meaningful ways.

We’re so thankful for their steady support and heart for youth.

We were grateful to welcome the team from International Food Products Corporation (IFPC) to KVC Missouri’s Webster Groves Campus for one of their dedicated volunteer days. 💙

Their team jumped in to organize toys, clothing and cleaning supplies, creating a more efficient and accessible system for the children and families we serve. Because of their hard work, caregivers can quickly find what they need, whether it is a comforting toy, seasonally appropriate clothing or essential household items. Their hands-on support strengthened our ability to serve families with dignity and care. Thank you, IFPC, for your continued partnership and commitment to our community.

For decades, Karen has cared for youth who need someone to show up, listen and believe in them. 💛

She says the most rewarding part is knowing she’s helping a child who can’t help themselves and changing their life in the process.

Supporting youth with compassionate, healing treatment.

For communities to prosper, all children must have the opportunity to develop healthy brains. We support youth in their development by providing compassionate treatment for those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, the impacts of childhood trauma, and other behavioral and/or mental health challenges. Through our residential treatment program and day treatment services, youth receive therapeutically enriched educational services, coping skills, and emotion regulation techniques that help them develop healthy interactions and behaviors.
