Anyone that applies to volunteer at the March 2026 camp session by February 16th at 11:59pm will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card to your favorite local coffee shop, store, or restaurant. ☕️🍝 🥡🌮 This includes anyone that has already submitted an application and any new applicants that roll in. A live Facebook drawing will occur on Feburary 17th at 11am.

Calling all current and potential campers and volunteers! Would you like to see our campgrounds before the camp session starts? Join us on one of the below dates as we take a leisurely stroll across our camp home. You will be able to peek in some cabins, view the dining hall and see the swimming pool, ropes course (zip-line) and the horse stables. The tour will be held rain or shine (unless we are experiencing severe weather) so please wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting muddy and dress appropriately for the weather.

Heartland options include:
💚 Feb 28 at 12pm
💚 April 4: at 12pm
💚 May 31 at 1pm
💚 July 19 at 1pm
💚 September 20 at 1pm

Safety starts with education.

1 in 10 children experience child sexual abuse before the age of 18.

Three of our lead staff recently completed training through Missouri Network Against Child Abuse on recognizing child abuse—strengthening our ability to protect, support, and advocate for children in our care. Keeping children safe isn’t optional—it’s a responsibility we take seriously, and we’re committed to ongoing learning to better protect and support the youth and families we serve.

Every monthly gift adds up to moments that matter. Examples of how impactful monthly recurring donations can be:

🍫 $15/month: provides a s'more for every camper at a camp session

🎶 $25/month: allows a special musical guest to lead songs around the campfire for each group of campers

🌳 $40/month: gives thirty campers the opportunity to zipline

🛌 $75/month: provides ten campers a cabin to comfortably stay in for their first night away from home

🐴 $100/month: allows fifty campers to ride a horse through fields and trails

This evening, thanks to the Child Protection Center, Inc. , some of our staff will be participating in "Darkness to Light" which offers specialized training in the education and prevention of child sexual abuse, other forms of abuse, and mandated reporting. This training is beneficial for anyone who works directly with children, but it’s especially valuable for those working with populations considered “high risk."

The training takes the below 5 steps and breaks them down so anyone can help recognize the signs of abuse and support.

4️⃣ Recognize the signs
