We are saddened to let you know that the Northland Office will be closing, effective March 31, 2023. We have enjoyed serving the Northland for many years. The two long-time physicians
associated with the Northland Office, Dr. Anthony Buren and Dr. Cory Jabara will remain with Encompass Medical Group, at different Encompass locations.

Upon the closure of the Northland Office, Dr. Jabara will relocate his practice to the Encompass Medical Group Wornall location, 373 West 101 st Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri, and Dr. Buren will relocate his office to the Hickman Mills Clinic, 7401 E. 147th Street, Grandview, Missouri.

Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a rare but severe condition associated with COVID-19 in which different body parts can become inflamed, including the heart, skin, eyes, or other organs. COVID-19 BOOSTER UPDATE: Everyone ages 18+ is eligible for a COVID-19 booster.

If you got an mRNA vaccine, either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna, you may get a booster dose 6 months after you’re fully vaccinated.

If you got a one-dose vaccine, Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen, you may get a booster dose 2 months after you’re fully vaccinated.

In the past 30 days, COVID-19 cases in Kansas City have tripled.

In just the first half of July there have been 800+ new COVID-19 cases in Kansas City -- that's more than all of June combined.

Now is the time to get vaccinated. If you're not vaccinated, please continue to take precautions to protect yourself and your loved ones.
