A recent survey found that many adults are open to testing their hearing or using self‑fit hearing solutions at home if recommended by health providers — showing interest in more accessible and convenient hearing care options.

Don't Forget: While we love people taking charge of their hearing health, ear anatomy is delicate, and self‑care approaches like DIY cleaning can sometimes do more harm than good. Always consider professional guidance when it comes to hearing and ear health

If recommended by the NHS, a high proportion of U.K. adults would be willing to test their own hearing at home and use NHS self-fitting hearing aids, University of Manchester researchers report.

Hearing loss can quietly diminish some of life’s most meaningful moments. That’s why this story from HAP Partner HearingLife is so powerful and so aligned with our mission.

For many individuals, hearing technology isn’t just about “turning things up"; it’s about reconnecting with family conversations, laughter, music and community. The journey often includes fitting, care, and support, emphasizing that hearing care is personal. Every successful fit is a reminder that access matters. When someone receives the right hearing aid and follow-up, it can transform their quality of life.

Hearing loss can quietly diminish life’s most meaningful moments—but Allison Phillips at HearingLife of Statesboro is helping patients reconnect with the sounds they love through expert care and personalized support.
