Certified Peer Recovery Coach – EPICC Program
Location: Greater Kansas City Western Region

Join the Engaging Patients in Care Coordination (EPICC) Program and make a difference in addressing substance use and the opioid epidemic in Kansas City. As a Certified Peer Recovery Coach, you’ll provide outreach, support, and connection to treatment for individuals impacted by substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outreach and engagement following overdoses in hospitals and community settings.
Facilitate client referrals, follow-ups, and ongoing engagement at scheduled intervals.
Support clients in overcoming barriers to recovery and manage crisis situations.
Document services accurately and maintain compliance with agency policies.
Build positive relationships with referral sources and represent the agency professionally.
Participate in team meetings, treatment planning, and interagency collaboration.
Maintain a caseload of 10–15 clients and complete at least 80 hours of outreach and training monthly.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum two years in recovery and lived experience with substance use.
Current Missouri Peer Specialist Certification
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance with current auto registration, and willingness to transport clients safely.
Ability to work on-call hours, including evenings and weekends.
Strong communication, time management, and computer skills.
