Congratulations to McKenzie Snyder, RN, for receiving the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses! A float pool nurse at our main Kansas City campus, Snyder was nominated by a patient who says Snyder helped ease her worries during her hospitalization.

"This nurse was very comforting, understanding, but also professional," the patient wrote. “She went through all the procedures properly and acknowledged my anxiety and reassured me with resources to help with aftercare. Some nurses might go through the routine, but she is helping me get over my ‘hospital fear’ which is something to be proud of.”
