Nggaz don’t even realize they fighting battles they inherited.
You think that anger yours.
That pride yours.
That silence yours.
Whole time it was modeled to you.
Nobody talked it out.
Everybody yelled.
Nobody healed.
Everybody coped.
And now you grown carrying habits that ain’t even original.
Breaking generational patterns don’t look glamorous.
It look like therapy.
It look like accountability.
It look like apologizing first.
It look like doing the opposite of what you saw growing up.
That’s uncomfortable.
Because now you the first one moving different.
You the first one saying no.
You the first one choosing discipline.
You the first one refusing chaos.
And they might not clap for that.
But somebody gotta be the one that stops it.
If it don’t end with you
it continues through you.
I chose to end it.
