How To Professionally Clean Your Kitchen Sink at Home:
The Scrub:
Wet the sink and sprinkle baking soda liberally. Use the cut side of a lemon half as your "scrubby sponge." The citric acid reacts with the soda to lift stains and kill odors.
The Fizz:
Don't rinse yet! Pour a little white vinegar over the baking soda/lemon paste. The fizzing action helps deep-clean the drain rim and overflow holes.
The Rinse:
Rinse thoroughly with hot water.
The Secret Polish:
For stainless steel, put two drops of olive oil on a paper towel and buff the dry sink. It prevents water spots and gives it a showroom glow that lasts for days.
