Centered Spirit

Centered Spirit Cultural & Holistic Center | Natural Healing Approaches | Holistic Health | Stress Relief Relaxation

Centered Spirit is also highly experienced in conventional services such as: Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Bodywork, Craniosacral Therapy, and Prenatal Massage & Reiki. Our specialty is Maya Abdominal Massage - the ancient technique which addresses the inner core (an area of the body that most massage therapists overlook). We address many abdominal health issues from reproductive to digestive to emotional and more. It helps to restore the body to its natural balance by correcting the position of organs that have shifted and restrict the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi energy. Your individual session may include a combination of two or more of these techniques that will best facilitate change to achieve lasting results.

In case you missed it, we were featured on Fox4 KC News!

Check out our Waldo Week specials and feel free to share with friends 😄

For its 10th year in a row, small businesses in the neighborhood are celebrating Waldo Week -- an eight-day community-wide event that aims to highlight some of the small shops and their products and show some support during the slow season.

What's the best part of a sharing space with a tea room? Being able to add tea to any infrared sauna session!

Between school and the upcoming holidays, Fall is a busy time of year. Take the time to relax your mind and relieve muscle tension, so you can tackle that to-do list at peak performance.

Our Story

Centered Spirit is a Cultural and Holistic Center, located in Waldo.

The center is a haven for healing with a true Cultural and Holistic experience. Alex and Emilie have combined their passions for healing traditions from Central America, Mexico and France collected from their travels and their roots. They have incorporated their heritage and love for other cultures into every part of the Center so you feel transported to another place when you enter in the Space.

They both had a vision to create a center rooted in ancient traditions and culture where everybody is welcomed and accepted for who they are, no matter the color, religion, gender or country they come from. The center not only provide a safe environment for healing and relaxation but is also a place where you can learn about culture and traditions of tea rituals around the world.

The storefront will transport you directly to France with a French Tea Room—a first in the area—featuring several imported teas from France and providing a place to relax and connect with the community.
