The weather changes on a dime here in the Midwest. As it does life, and I’m happy to announce that I am retiring from being a therapist and transitioning into my twilight career. This company will still offer products and features that are related to mental health, and I hope they inspire you wonder and wander. I have three artistic ecosystems in my other company-one has products featuring my art on products, the second featuring images I capture and sell, and the third featuring digital art design products. I plan on sharing them here as well. This photo is a storm dwarfing Kansas City in February 2026, ushering in wild swings in temperatures. I find myself saying “I never would have thought…” much more often lately. More changes coming soon so check back often!

In the last 8 weeks I completed a course called Leverage Your Art with and it was a game changer! I don’t know why more colleges don’t include a business class! It was super intense with an amazing community! Part of it showed us how to monetize our work in different ways, how make products from our designs, how to copyright our content and schedule online content and create multiple streams of income!

Creating art is a very useful therapeutic tool for therapists to use with clients but also as a means of expression for themselves. If you know my story then you can probably see how it’s been in my life.

Day 17-Gratitude

When driving from Kansas to Wisconsin last March the sunset kept popping up in my rear-view mirror. I was finally compelled to pull off at the next exit, find the first road facing west, got out of the car and just stared in awe until it sank under the horizon…then turned around to leave and saw the super blood moon…

I found this old recently of my mother holding me shortly after I was adopted. She was a beautiful soul and great mom. I lost her to breast cancer almost twenty years ago and I still miss her every day. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s of every type out there!
