Today's walk was special because we had a new walker who grew up on the Westside! She shared so many memories of people, places, and things from the past. We walked deep into the neighborhood, up the hills past Observation Park, and then down the steep descent near the Tony Aguirre Community Center. We'll do it again next Monday at 1, so join us if you can. We meet at the shop!

Two-walker squad today and we STILL showed up. 💪🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Walking Club was small-but-mighty (just 2 walkers), and we moved at a fast clip: nearly 7KM in 1 hour 20 minutes. We headed up Beardsley, crossed the 12th Street Bridge into the West Bottoms, and took a quick peek at the Rock Island Bridge near HyVee Arena. Cloudy skies, solid steps, great energy. ☁️✅

Walking Club update: we’re entering Year 5 — and we’ve officially walked more weeks than ever before. 🥾✨

For the first time, we’re walking THROUGH winter (with exceptions for very cold, windy, or icy conditions). This Monday, February 2, we covered 4 km in just over an hour, soaked up a ton of Crossroads art, and wrapped it up with a hot drink at Café Corazón. ☕🎨

Green things matter in winter. 🌿❄️

This snake plant has taken off in just over a year — and today I had to stand on a stool (full snow-pants energy) to point out the tallest leaf. 😄

Huge thanks to our plant nanny  for keeping this beauty thriving. We love having something living + growing in our treatment room… especially during the crispy-cold season when everything outside feels dormant.
