Today we had the pleasure of listening to the beautiful voice of a residents family member. They’re visiting for the holidays all the way from San Diego. His voice was amazing and the food at Happy Hour was delicious! Happy New Year!

As 2025 comes to an end our final Act of Service for the year is making gift bags for the Langsford House a non-profit home for boys.

🎊 Happy New Year from our Mrs. Roper New Year’s Eve Party! We traveled back to the 70s with bold outfits, big smiles, and lots of laughter. There’s no better way to welcome the New Year than celebrating community, fun, and togetherness.

Just when we thought the party was winding down… BAM! 🎉 In walked Mr. and Mrs. Roper! Our Culinary Director and Executive Director totally crashed the party in full 70s glory, bringing nonstop laughter and smiles. Ringing in the New Year Roper-style with our residents was the perfect way to celebrate! Happy New Year!🎊

The 7th day of Christmas and 35th day of holiday cheer our chef treated us to a delicious shrimp alfredo dinner accompanied with broccolini and garlic toast.

Yesterday, we began celebrating the close of the year with a beautiful Christmas High Tea ☕🎄
Our tea selection included classic Scottish Breakfast, Blood Orange, Cranberry, and Blackberry Sage. Residents enjoyed a delicious spread of savory treats—assorted quiches, frittatas, and classic cucumber sandwiches—followed by sweet bites of mini brownies and holiday cookies.

We spent time fellowshipping, reminiscing about the year behind us, and sharing what lies ahead. We also introduced our Word of the Year for The Madison Senior Living: Belonging.

Belonging means that everyone who walks through our doors—residents, families, team members, and guests—feels seen, valued, respected, and loved. It means that no matter your background, story, or season of life, you have a place at The Madison.

What truly sets our community apart is our diversity and the way people consistently share that The Madison feels welcoming and accepting. Belonging is more than a feeling—it’s an action. It shows up in how we greet one another, how we care for our residents, how we support our teammates, and how we create a home where everyone feels safe and included.
