Happy Friday! On this we are featuring Maria Theoharidis! Maria is the founding member of Mid-America Law Firm, LLC. A practice encompassing probate law, specifically including adult and minor guardianships and conservatorships; Social Security disability; ERISA, criminal law; juvenile law; family law; and certified by the Supreme Court of Missouri for Guardians Ad Litem in Missouri Juvenile and Family Court Matters. In October 2019 mediation became a part of the practice. Admitted to practice before the U.S. District, Western District of Missouri; U.S. District, Eastern District of Missouri; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and all other courts in the State of Missouri. Maria has authored “Taking Control: A Guide to Guardianship and Conservatorship in Missouri.” She also authored “Solving the Social Security Disability Puzzle: How to Get the Benefits You Need.” She has been a Missouri CLE presenter on legal ethics, guardianships and conservatorships, and disability. She was the 2020 president of the Platte County Bar Association and serves on Tri-county Mental Health Board of Directors for Platte County.
