I’d like to share my testimonial about the school that taught me body work and massage essentials for horses. If you’re considering a career with horses or just want to add another ingredient to caring for your own horse I highly recommend this wonderful school. 🐎
Testimonial for the Equine Natural Movement School
by Adrienne Thompson
Training at the Equine Natural Movement School has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I came into the program seeking a way to help horses — and I did gain that. But what I received went far beyond technique. I found a deeper connection to myself, to the animals I love, and to the intuitive, present, and purposeful way I now live my life.
This training awakened a new level of presence in me. It gave me the tools to not only support horses physically, but to listen deeply, sense energetically, and respond with clarity and compassion. As a Reiki Master, I’ve been able to infuse what I’ve learned from this program into my energy work — creating a beautiful integration of physical and energetic healing. The combination has allowed me to connect with horses on an even deeper level and offer them holistic support that honors both body and spirit.
Horses have changed my life — profoundly. So much so that I left the busyness of city life in Seattle and moved to a completely different state. I now live and work on a horse ranch in the peaceful countryside of Southern California, surrounded daily by the very beings who helped me find this new path. It’s not just a lifestyle shift — it’s a soul shift.
I also now volunteer with Kauai Healing Horses in Hawaii, an organization that works with horses who serve children with disabilities. Using the skills I gained at the Equine Natural Movement School in this setting has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It’s given me the opportunity to give back — to support the horses who are doing the deep emotional and physical labor of healing others. It’s a way to say “thank you” for the healing they’ve given me and continue to give every day.
This training is not just something I did — it’s something I became. It has opened the door to a life I never imagined, and I will always be grateful to the Equine Natural Movement School for giving me the foundation to build this purpose-filled, horse-led life.
With deepest gratitude,
Adrienne Thompson
