I wanted to share some key takeaways from my readings at Body Mind Spirit Expo in Honolulu.
When I first started reading for strangers, there was quite a learning curve. What I realized during my first expo is that being a psychic is a serious profession—people ask the Guides, through psychics, deeply consequential questions about their lives. This work requires responsibility and integrity to do the questioner justice.
Now that I have more experience under my belt and have cleared many of my own shadows—an experience that serves as training for psychic work in itself—I want to share what I’ve channeled to help those who are early in their opening decide whether they feel called to this kind of work.
Being a psychic will make you deeply emotionally intelligent because you’ll witness different people moving through similar life patterns again and again, and you’ll start to notice how the Guides respond depending on what’s asked. Giving readings also makes you energetically literate, because psychic openings go far beyond the Clairs. What the Guides say people are capable of will truly expand your understanding of what’s possible.
Here are my main takeaways from the readings I did at BMSE Honolulu:
1. Not knowing your Guides’ names doesn’t make your channeling any less legitimate. What matters isn’t the name—it’s whether what’s being channeled carries light. That’s an entire education in resonance. Start there, and the name will come naturally.
2. Sometimes, there’s no instruction manual or class for what you’re psychically capable of doing because you’re a wayshower in that area. In essence, you may be the first one bringing forward what’s awakening within you. Your education comes through following the breadcrumbs of your intuition.
3. As a wayshower, mastering the present moment is essential. We’re seldom told what will happen in five or ten years. You’ll know what to do because your intuition guides you in the now. The Guides have said repeatedly that wayshowers are only shown the present and the immediate future.
4. Every single person who sat at my table had some level of psychic ability. No one was unable to do the psychic exercises the Guides gave them.
5. Your psychic abilities don’t have to exist separately from your current work—they can enhance your skill set and help you do what you do at an even higher level (pun intended).
6. Gratitude expands your abilities. When you appreciate the gifts you already have, they grow stronger. When you take them for granted, your awareness of them diminishes. Channeling doesn’t have to look, feel, or sound a certain way. If you’re accessing light, you’re channeling. When people get hung up on how channeling “should” look, they block greater openings because they aren’t honoring the fact that they’re already doing it.
7. Knowing your Guides’ names is a process of attunement to your lightbody. Be patient with the process, and follow your intuition—not your intellect—to know what to do next.
