It’s a beautiful day to honor this lovely, Judi, CNM as she is celebrating TWO years with Full Circle this month!

Judi has been such a light to have on our team…not only is she an amazing midwife, she has the biggest, most selfless heart, super supportive, will always be your biggest cheerleader, incredibly smart & gives so much to women & families. As we step into January, it’s a powerful time to check in on how you’re really feeling during pregnancy and after birth.

Not every postpartum mood change is the same, and knowing the difference can help you get the right support:

🔹 Perinatal Depression (PPD): Persistent sadness, low energy, hopelessness, loss of interest; may last months without treatment
🔹 Perinatal Anxiety (PPA): Excessive worry, racing thoughts, panic; can interfere with daily life
🔹 Perinatal OCD (POCD): Symptoms include obsessions, compulsions, horror about obsessions, fear of being alone with baby, and hypervigilance

✨ Early recognition leads to earlier support and recovery.

And remember, perinatal mental health conditions can also include Bipolar Mood Disorders, PTSD, and Psychosis.

Oh Holy Night, this star was brightly shining ✨

We welcomed this sweet Christmas gift early & boy did his mama work hard for him. Such a blessing & incredible honor to be a part of witnessing this beautiful family’s grace, strength & wonderment as this little love was brought earthside.

At Full Circle we honor every family and their wishes for their birth journey. This birth was patience & the true definition of natural, physiologic birth. Every mother that’s re-born alongside their babe I am amazed & am reminded of my purpose of choosing this path to serve women. Just incredible!

Today I had the honor to share about Midwifery & Freestanding BirthCenter model of care to Kasson Mantorville’s Child Development class. To be able to provide education, awareness & knowledge of my passion is such a privilege & I am so grateful for their curiosity, questions & thoughtfulness.

Thank you Kasson-Mantorville Schools for this opportunity & for your leadership in providing classes that spark students interest & curiosity. It was my pleasure providing a tour & educating students of a career/option of care for families 💙
